Eric Graham, Director of the TechBridge Program

 

During his professional career, Eric has conducted business on a global scale. He has founded and managed businesses that have touched on every continent and engaged in cross-border trade in more than 30 countries.  He holds a Finance & Insurance degree from Northeastern University, and received his MBA from Babson’s FW Olin Graduate School of Business. Eric holds two global patents for ultra low temperature refrigeration and transportation methods. Eric is a frequent speaker on clean energy technologies and commercialization strategies, and regularly participates as a judge for cleantech business plan and grant competitions.

 

Jeff McAulay

Program Manager, TechBridge

 

Jeff McAulay, TechBridge Program Manager

 

Jeff joined Fraunhofer as one of the founding members of the TechBridge team. Currently, Jeff works to coordinate the screening of potential clients on both technical and business merits and connects startups with early stage investors or government grant opportunities. Jeff has worked on a variety of alternative energy technologies over the past 6 years. He holds degrees from the MIT Engineering Systems Division and the Boston University College of Engineering.

 

TechBridge Fellows

The TechBridge Fellowship Program is for students currently pursuing an MBA or other graduate students and entrepreneurs interested in starting a cleantech company. TechBridge Fellows have the unique opportunity to develop the analytical skills of a venture capitalist while acquiring experience in an applied technical environment built around promising cleantech startups. 

 

Timothy Canavan – TechBridge Fellow 2010

Tim became a TechBridge Fellow while he was a graduate student at Duke University, where he was earning a master’s degree in energy at the Nicholas School of the Environment and an MBA at the Fuqua School of Business. Prior to Duke, he spent nearly four years as an analyst of the venture capital and private equity industry at Cambridge Associates.

 

Emil Mamedov – TechBridge Fellow 2010

Emil joined TechBridge Fellowship program in 2010.  Prior to that, he interned at General Catalyst Partners and Flagship Ventures evaluating investment opportunities in clean energy. He previously worked at IBM consulting and at Samson Resources, a private natural gas exploration and production company. Emil holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and BSc in Finance, summa cum laude, from Oklahoma State University.
