Jeff McAulay, TechBridge Program Manager

 

Jeff joined the Fraunhofer USA Center for Sustainable Energy Systems to start the TechBridge Program with the mission of supporting the development of early stage cleantech companies. TechBridge, funded in part by a US Department of Energy Innovation Ecosystem Grant, administers U-Launch awards in collaboration with several regional partners. Jeff coordinates reviews of potential award recipients on both technical and business merits and connects early-stage companies with relevant investors and government grant opportunities. Additionally, Jeff's work within TechBridge involves linking Fraunhofer spinouts with business opportunities in the US. Jeff has worked on a variety of alternative energy technologies, with experience in biofuels and optimized flex fuel vehicles, catalytic fuel reforming, fuel cells, and battery electric vehicles. Recently, Jeff has led a Fraunhofer effort to identify new entrepreneurial opportunities to address electric utility business challenges. He holds degrees from the MIT Engineering Systems Division and the Boston University College of Engineering.

 

Peter Klint

Peter’s career has spanned the start-up community to the financial services industry with a passion for developing and implementing emerging technology. Most recently, he supported private equity business development in the energy, telecommunications and information technology sectors.  Previous to his financial services background, he worked for several Massachusetts based start-ups in systems engineering roles, partnering with sales, marketing and engineering teams to deliver market-changing solutions. Peter joined Fraunhofer CSE's TechBridge Program as a Project Leader to expand and accelerate the development of emerging energy technology. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Northeastern University. 

Eric Graham

During his professional career, Eric has conducted business on a global scale. He has founded and managed businesses that have touched on every continent and engaged in cross-border trade in more than 30 countries.  He holds a Finance & Insurance degree from Northeastern University, and received his MBA from Babson’s FW Olin Graduate School of Business. Eric holds two global patents for ultra low temperature refrigeration and transportation methods. Eric is a frequent speaker on clean energy technologies and commercialization strategies, and regularly participates as a judge for cleantech business plan and grant competitions.

 

TechBridge Fellows

The TechBridge Fellowship Program is aimed at students currently pursuing an MBA or other graduate students and entrepreneurs interested in starting or joining a cleantech company. TechBridge Fellows have the unique opportunity to develop the analytical skills of a venture capitalist while acquiring experience in an applied technical environment built around promising cleantech startups. Past Fellows include:
