Opportunities for Entrepreneurs and MBAs

As a TechBridge Fellow, you will have the unique opportunity to develop the analytical skills of a venture capitalist while developing your skills in an applied technical environment of promising cleantech start-ups. TechBridge Fellows work on the intersection of venture capital, technical R&D and entrepreneurship to bridge the cleantech financing gap and develop the next generation of sustainable energy start-ups. TechBridge leverages its relationships with technology investors to finance applied R&D projects and secure the technical progress necessary to get companies to the next round of funding. Our internships offer valuable and practical experience that can kick-start careers in start-up management, VC or the renewable energy industry.

  • Gain venture capital experience. Work with our TechBridge team to identify promising cleantech startups and investment opportunities. Learn how to evaluate companies and put deals together.
  • Take an operating role. Think you've got what it takes? Play a key role in launching a cleantech start-up. Build a team around spin-out ready technologies or work with technologists to develop business plans and market strategies.
  • Become an entrepreneur in residence. Help discover and commercialize promising cleantech IP from top US universities and the greater Fraunhofer network. Learn a specific industry, discover technologies to address them and design teams to take these solutions to market.
  • Work with industry veterans. Business and MBA candidates have the benefit of working with - and learning from - senior staff members with high-level experience in the cleantech industry.

The CSE offers summer internships to entrepreneurs and MBAs. Non-summer interships are also available on a case-by-case basis. Interns will be directly supervised by TechBridge leadership team.
