There are two levels of participation for Building Technology Showcase partners. Fraunhofer CSE will work individually with partner companies to create a customized package that meets their research needs, while assisting the company in identifying the best way to promote their innovative technologies.
Research Partner: These partners will provide materials or systems for the building, around which a sponsored research project will be designed and executed. The research will be tailored to the R&D, validation and marketing needs of the partner. Partners will receive detailed validation data and analysis on the performance of their technology. The research generated will be documented in internal reports, white papers, and technical publications, depending on the partner’s references. Where desired and appropriate, research work will be scoped to help further develop the product. The partner's technologies will be prominently featured in Fraunhofer’s interactive exhibition space.
Showcase Partner: Partners that produce emerging building technologies for deep energy retrofits or sustainable buildings will have their products and/or systems incorporated into the building and will be featured in Fraunhofer’s interactive exhibition space. The exhibition space will be used to educate the buildings community about emerging technologies and help promote market adoption of our partner’s technology.
