Biography

Dr. Roberts is a long-standing entrepreneurial presence in the life sciences sector. Before founding medical device manufacturer WMR, Dr. Roberts co-founded the drug optimization company Surface Logix and nanotechnology development company Nano-Terra with Harvard nanotechnology expert George Whitesides, earning him a Young Innovator award from the MIT Technology Review. Before embarking on a career as an entrepreneur, Dr. Roberts worked at GelTex Pharmaceuticals and Sentry Products, pioneering a number of key products for companies such as Pfizer and Boston Medical.
